The history of Casa Alfaro is the story of one of the many alpargateras families from Cervera del Rio Alhama, La Rioja, where this product is flag and banner from the early twentieth century. Their grandparents, in early 1900, started making those craft hemp espadrilles for its economy, the country people wore.
The story continued and the migration of people to the cities took the family to Zaragoza, where today, and since 1980, Casa Alfaro is a workshop handmade espadrilles located in the vibrant neighborhood store in La Madalena.
