I treated this story of passion and love with the minimalistic elements. By the changement of lights the same pieces represent different mood - from well-organized order of the first scene to the dramatic tension of the last one. Giving just the hints of the architectural environment I concentrate the attention of the spectators on the protagonist - the giant rose, slightly transforming to the full moon in the last scene. From plenty - to a single element, to emphasize the importance and pump the dramatic effect. The formal allusions between the architecture and the human prototypes let the spectator dream beyond the libretto and above the scenography.
