A Decorative Arts Museum For Washington D.C.

A Decorative Arts Museum For Washington D.C.First Semester, Senior Year.
After taking a week to document Washington D.C., our senior year studio produced two projects for the D.C. area. Our first project was a dominican priory and lasted only three weeks. The project shown here is our second project, which lasted six weeks. Our professor, Thomas Gordon Smith, designed the American Wing of the MET in New York. Under his guidence, we designed a proposed decorative arts museum to be built adjacent to the Corcoran. The exterior perspective and plans were rendered in photoshop, while the rest of the presentation was done in watercolor.
