Bathtub Brewery, Microbrewery Identity

Identity Design for a new Microbrewery of Craft Beers,
endorsed by Carlsberg.

SOLUTION: In 1836, J.C Jacobsen used his mother’s bathtub to experiment with making this new type of beer...
I proposed that we use the bathtub or aspects of the bathroom to symbolise experimentation, on a small scale. The bathroom conveys is the sense of being at home, in your own personal space. The colours chosen are to create a contrast to the bottles but also to exaggerate the typical colours of beer.
The use of only serifs helps to reference the visual language of traditional Victorian plumbing. The Thomas Crapper Company gave me a good incite into the language that would be appropriate.

My Final Major Project was featured in the End of year show Catalogue
and Exhibited at New Designers at the Business Design Centre in July 2014.
