Carolin Müller's profile

Mapping Conversations

This project reflects the current state of me working with small etchings whose imagery captures bits and pieces of re-interpreted content of experiences I have made when living abroad. Being continuously re-arranged in the printing process the underlying meaning of the individual plates is altered each time printed. Thereby the remnants of my memories are reiterated again and again opening the conversation about the universality of language and the multiplicity of meanings that can be generated from a large variety of signs in combination.

Below you find the project's current installation at the "Werft Laubegast" in Dresden/Germany. It is open from July 24-26, 2pm-6pm. It was also on display in City Hall Dresden from Aug 30 September 30 2015.
