The inspiration came from natures nocturnal winged predator the bat, its elongated wings and versatile shape allowed for a sleek and stealth like shape. With the bats wing shape the AX-1 could essentially make sharp turns at high speeds... perfect for combat situations or surveillance.
The US airforce addition can be modified completely to the needs of the environment and with its minimal design its stealth technology allows a invisible shell in radar capable areas much like that of the f117 - Night Hawk

The AX-1 is purposefully built for long range surveillance in radar populated areas, but can be fitted with military combat capabilities if needed.
Its onboard advanced, computer and surveillance array allow it to pin point a target within a meter, encompassing the latest in camera technology it carries both advanced night vision and day optics.
