A project to visualise the noise level at Central Saint Martins library.
Different shapes represent different noise in the space, some shapes are smooth, which can show the noise are relevantly quiet, some shapes are vibrant and spike, it can show that the noise level in that area are quiet high.
The inspiration of the project is from ‘80 mesh – the shape of sound’. It is a project that investigates fragmentation, reconstruction and repetition generated through the morphogenetic possibilities of sound waves – visualized through the modeling of fine grain sand.
