Development of Idea
As a group we decided to retain the glitch concept from the initial idea. We researched Online for inspiration including both visual and sound content. From the imagery gathered we started to brainstorm around the idea of gas lighting and highlighting keywords to help us create a storyboard as well as a mood board.
The idea goes way back historically showing mental abuse inside an asylum. The story is presented from the perspective of the writer documenting the victim’s road to fatality.
The victim in the storyline doubts his own memory, perception and sanity and abuses the use of drugs with the intention of disorientating from his world. He is corrupted by insanity and chaos as thoughts spin inside his head forcing him to fall in denial.
