This assignment is a project brief by the D&AD Awards 2015 and the teams are able to choose which brands or topic that they want to work towards. This project were grouped in pairs and the team chose WWF as the their brief. These allow the team to create an important piece of work that will impact the environment. The Team concept is simple, using the pencil as a metaphor of a Rhino Horn. While a little girl who is sick, drawing her favorite animal, Rhinoceros, her mum called her out to drink a brewed soup which was made from a Rhino Horn.
The horn breaks in the drawing, signifying the extraction of the rhino's horn and killed the animal. The full video is filmed with just a camera and tripod, no sliders or lighting equipment were used. Color corrected and Composited in After Effects. This eventually got us the Wooden Pencil from the New Blood D&AD Awards 2015.
