OCTO company present 'Thando', an adaptation of Georg Büchner's 'Woyzeck'.

Set in 19th Century Thando is the story of a native South African tribe, overtaken by a Dutch research team aided with military force, to tell the tale of one man; Thando. As he swaps a life of instinct for one of obedience we see how the corruption of the natural world takes its toll on his mentality as he tries to fight against the oppression, heartbreak and betrayal constantly thrown his way.
