THE REBIRTH
A school project to develop a knitwear collection of total 6 looks for S/S 2013. The collection focus on the concept of giving a brand new image to the greek mythology gorgon, Medusa. Inspired from the pattern and texture of the snake skin, I wanted to bring out the strong yet feminine side of Medusa by combining different texutre of fabrics including heavy textured knit and prints on organza in the collection. A light and fresh color tone palette is used to symbolize the feminine and innocent image of Medusa from my imagination as she rebirths.
