Design Publication; Principles, Practice and Personal
 
As part of a university module we where asked to create a piece based upon our own design practice now, we could look at a variety of influences that realted to our own design. And so I came up with a three part publication that looks at three different parts of my design and style. 
 
The first book (the smallest book) looks at my principles of design, e.g. my use of layout and grid, my use of colour. 
The second book looks at professional influences and resources and contains secondary images of work that has given me inspiration. 
The last book looks at my personality and how it informs my practice and what I like designing for and in mind with, for instance nature and animals, and history are usually big influences. 
 
The look of the book is soft and silver highlights accentuate the look, the fibonacci spiral features on the front cover and hints towards my interest in grids and my interest in nature. Silver binding clips have been used to bind the books together and they secure the three different formats of the books together.
