At College I was given a brief to create a magazine that would appeal to students ranging from the ages of 14-17 where I came up with the idea of advertising student life and freshers events to people starting college and in secondary school. Upon this idea the brief stated a front cover, contents page and a double page spread with stories/news/interviews and I had chosen stories by adding the originality of Fresher Events and reliable interviews with students the next day. 

 

Below are the results of my designs of the student magazine. From here I collected data from gathering market research using students within my own college to fill in a survey with mock ups of my designs in layers going from fonts, backgrounds, layouts and colour that would give me the final results of making my final designs.
