To Look In Every Direction

Final Year Project (Phase Two)
This project is a subsidiary to my final year project done based on the term 'Diffusion of Responsibility', also known as the Bystander Effect; whereby a person is less likely to take responsibility for an action or inaction when others are present.

To Look In Every Direction
_____

The following character development illustrations means to look in every direction, glance this way and that, to gaze or peer around. Bystanders behaviour being emphasized through portraying their excuses as personality of characters.

Miss Selfie
Mr Doom as the victim in bystander effect case
Mr Lemming

The meaning of 'Lemming' is a member of a crowd with no originality or voice of his own. One who speaks or repeats only what he has been told.

Hence the character was personified with the animal monkey as the saying goes 'monkey see monkey do'.
Drawing the body parts proportionately
Family portrait of The Bystanders
The illustration is based on nature vs nurture, what you bring out to the street, is what you learn at home. The little boy is the newest member and is in the making to becoming a bystander soon.
Trying out collage with acrylic to create a narration.
Musuem Antics

Passerbys behaving like visitors at the museum

Strictly no photos
Strictly do not touch exhibit
