Refresh is a shower that recycles water and heat by filtering part of the warm water and circulating it together with the cold water inlet.

The shower incorporates a Spa-function that enhances the experience for the user. A small capsule with oils and essences is pushed in to a slot on the front of the shower, the capsule is dissolved and mixed with the water giving the user a fresh shower experience. The recycling function is activated when the user activates the spa-function and thus forces the user to recycle water.

The project was a finalist in Sweden´s biggest design competition for students 2010, arranged by Stiftelsen Svensk Industridesign (SVID). The task was to pick a room in the household and design something that would minimize the energy consumption.
