The Michael Jackson Glove

Arduino attached to the glove.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The glove is used as a musical interface to allow Users to create their own music using Michael Jackson's music. Once the  glove is on, the interface becomes part of the user's body and they create music by simply tapping two fingers together.

A conductive thread is sewn through the glove to allow the current to go run. The thumb is linked to the ground pin on Arduino and the four other fingers to four digital pins on Arduino, which is connected to Max Msp in order to create the sounds. Every time one of the four fingers touches the thumb, the circuit is closed and one of the sounds is created.
Prototype using conductive thread sewn on the glove.
INITIAL PROTOTYPE
