During my senior year, at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, I enrolled in a packaging design course. This project’s prompt was to create a line of herb boxes for the urban apartment. Wanting to use a stylish yet functional housing system for the product, I came across the idea of a hexagonal box. The identity system was created to reflect the unique packaging. Using geode patterns and colors, each herb was housed in a unique patterned and colored box. The logo and text was created using geometric lines and shapes to modernize the design while the triangle leaves reflect back to the hexagonal packaging.
