This is the book that I made for my Final Major Project on snowboarding.
I have skied for many years and began snowboarding a few years ago. I immediately fell in love with it. Within the book that I created I explore the visual beauty of the mountains, the sport, the culture surrounding it, and their relationship with others. As well as the feeling that I, and other riders, have towards it. I went to a few indoor slopes in England and to Morzine in France to research it and spoke to snowboarders, skiers, locals, and resort staff there, getting first hand information from real people and places.
Every photo in the book was taken by me, most of the large text and both of the half toned images have been screen printed, including the front cover, and many of the quotes are from real people that I spoke to personally.
The whole book was printed and hand bound by me.
