Food Production Facility

the aim of thsi design course was to use the environment as the design generator , the idea began by choosing a fruit or a vegetable and start by personally analysing it without the use of internet or external sources and exploring its form , structure , texture and its elements to the smallest details .my choice was the pomegranate fruit .
the next step was to derive a key word from that process and mine was "the importance of the building element", as after my research i was fascianted by the unique seeds of the pomegranate and how they are simialr and different at the same time and the way they fit in that bigger entitity.
the followinf phase was concerned with transforming this keyword into a conceptual model and the idea of the trangulations started to be more clear.
following that was transforming that conceptual model into an architectural form following the standrads of an office building after another reasearch that took place and a field trip to similar project.
after weeks of developing the architectual drawings while respecting the surrounding environment and climate of that project in order to make it a sustainable building and using techniques to minimize the power consumption that was the final result .

Zoning on the physical model showing the different entities of the project

Cross Section B-B

Partial section and Elevation for the South Facade , the Double facade ( the corridor ) technique was used to minimize the access of excessive amount of sunlight into the building
