Tijeras or "Scissors" is an animated horror short film. Won an award in the Mórbido Film Fest short film contest.

This video is a mix between Flash animation, hand-drawn backgrounds and After Effects post production.

A comparison of the three stages of the background, The first is the original hand drawn version, followed by the digitally colored one and, finally, the one used in the film, with the characters added in and all the special effects applied.
And this is a little animation sample of one of the moments from the film. Done in Flash frame by frame and later imported to the After Effects project so it could be used with the backgrounds.
