A GUEST
I made a woven piece. Two types of weft were used. In the beginning I used weft from the school.

Later I used material from the environment. It was a fishing net which I got from an inhabitant of the Asperö Island in the southern part of the archipelago in Gothenburg, Sweden. I was surprised when a castle visitor who looked like a homeless person gave me the idea to use ready-made materials such as no longer needed fishing net and ropes.

He told me: ”Gothenburg is a fishermen city, just look around and you`ll find something.”

I wove the object in a castle in Gothenburg, Sweden. I used construction of roof and stones which I found in castle to build a weaving frame.

I left the object in the castle after I finished it. It stayed in castle from September 2014 to April 2015. It was removed but still in the same place as I left it afterwards.

The only one stone left from all construction. I`m keeping it together with object. The idea of the project A GUEST is to add stones depending on the place where the object will be exhibit.

There left not just stone from the castle but feather from a bird which lives in the castle as well.
