Stay is a Norway-based travel guide, founded in 2009. It offers 150 cities packed with great places to visit and beautiful curated travel guides by local experts. Stay lets you discover exciting attractions, restaurants and nightlife, and build the perfect travel guide together with your fellow travelers.
In 2015, Stay wanted to get rid of some of the feeling of technology, corporate, masculinity, business, strictness and sharpness. They wanted more softness, lightness, firendliness, femininity, happy-go-lucky, informal and fun – without turning the entire product upside down. It also had to be serious and trusthworthy.
Based on their brief, this was my suggestion for their new logo and app-icon.
