This project was designed for a client who wanted to gut the interior shell of the house, combine rooms, change walls, switch rooms, and add additional square footage on rear of the structure. We decided to attach the garage to the rear of the house which allowed for a side entrance to the garage. This type of design positioned the access to the second floor at the rear of the garage. From there, the master suite, which includes a private office and a massive closet, rests on the entire second floor.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: The house needed to be leveled and the roof was raised over 11 inches. Due to settling over time, the exterior walls of the existing house had pulled away from the roof. We needed to re-square the structure before framing any of the walls.
