The concept for the development of the brand, FORMOSA MADE, was to provide a platform for traditional craftsmen in Taiwan to present their work. The aim for this platform is to connect tradition with contemporary audience, where history, tradition, and culture can be appreciated and shared. Each physical product represents a different craftsman from various regions in Taiwan, from indigenous weaving to tradtional tye dye and pottery making. In order to enhance the products, a neutral beige color is applied to the labels. The brand is there to promote each studio and their tradtional techniques.
