Remodel 2008
Irondale, Alabama
In 2008, this project was completed in 3 months. The home, located in Irondale, Alabama, was completely gutted to leave framming exposed. Plumbing and electrical wiring were repaired and/or replaced accordingly. All new sub flooring and sheet rock installed. New hard wood and tile floors. Concrete board installed under tile in kitchen and bathroom. New toilet, sink and a shower was frammed with new plumbing. Rubber membrane installed in shower floor to avoid leaks. Walls were refinished, sanded, and painted. All new power outlets, switches and light fixtures installed. An arch wall was built seperating the kitchen from the dining area. Shelves and arched storage space was built in the kitchen. Microwave and stove unit was installed. Electrical wiring ran from breaker box to units in the kitchen. Stove top was installed with hood. Shutters were built for the living room. Most of the work was performed by William Irizarry and Irizarry contractors. Sheetrock installation and finishing and some painting was done by a hired company. Design by William irizarry.
