ABOUT THE PROJECT
DaadLingo is a board game about the Arabic language. It takes place in the city of Beirut, Lebanon. It targets trilingual speakers whose mother tongue is Arabic and that speak English and French. Many Lebanese have been so used to speaking in French and English that their knowledge of their mother tongue has been weakened. They have been alienated from their own mother tongue through the cultural colonization they have embraced. The game presents this weakness as a reflection of a cultural colonization that has been manifesting itself through language. 
Players navigate from one node to the other when they give correct answers. They need to conquer all the nodes of one area in order to conquer the entire area. The dice is used for nodes on the border of an area, if the opponent has already conquered it.
The game is inspired by the board game Risk. Players are assigned the areas they need to conquer.
Players are presented with yes/no or multiple choice questions under three categories: Culture, Society, Economie and politics.

Each team stamps the node that they conquer with wither "English" or "French".
The rules of the game are presented in both French and English.
