Vipps is an app that will make it easier to transfer money from you to a friend - or between multiple persons. A super flexible and easy way to use person-to-person payment service. Sender and developer is DNB, but the app will be available to everyone with a Norwegian bank card.
It has been a very exciting process where we went through hundreds of names before we finally found a Norwegian and appropriate name. Vipps is a nice name that is easy to remember and a play on the service’s main benefit, fast transfer between two or more persons.
Concept
When working with the visual identity we wanted to create a dynamic logo that can evolve, react and give different signals following your actions in the app. That´s why we have created different versions of the logo;
Identity
The rest of the visual identity is based on DNB´s main visual identity to create a special ownership to the service, specially important since the service isn't fully DNB branded.
The App
DNB are committed to continuously find new solutions that will make life easier for their customers. With Vipps, ANTI and DNB have created a service for anyone with a Norwegian bank card that makes it easier to split a restaurant bill, settlement after girl trip or simply transfer money between friends.
