This is a side-table I designed and made. Made of Meranti, with a hexagonal shape that was based on my client's desire for a uniquely shaped table, it had a table top composed of seven pieces of tile. Six pieces form the border of the table top, and the center piece - which is hexagonal - has a motif I painted on based on the design of the border tiles.
