This project was done as a Father's Day gift for my dad, who is a huge fan of the character.  I penciled it, then scanned it in, cleaned it up and colored it digitally in Adobe Photoshop. It was done in the style of 30s-40s cartoon illustration, a bit rough by design.  I've shown four stages here, the scanned inks, rough pencils, finished digital coloring and final printed and framed art.
