The outcome of the Arabic typeface design course that was supervised by Haytham Nawar. Djibouti is a Geometric typeface, it was originally inspired by the Geometric Kufic script, but was developed further to fit the Djiboutian culture. It is specialised by the high contrast between the strokes. It has exaggerated wide apertures, and cubic form which makes it even more engaging. Its very thin terminals makes it unique. It is ideal for headlines and large-scale graphics and abstractions.
