Bayer's drug Diane couldn't advertise in the open market due to Govt. regulations. And they couldn't be seen soliciting consumers either. The drug cured acne, but was also used as female contraception. So, the solution we came up with, was a website, facetheworld.com. The website would be a resource for young women to feel good about themselves, look good and be more confident. It would of course, also, suggest that women buy Diane, but only if asked for by the consumer. And Bayer would promote the website through all traditional media, POS, OOH, etc. This was the TVC for the launch of the website, and the model is one of Vietnam's top models. The product went on to register bumper sales for the client. And the website, to this day, remains a solid platform for the client to engage with their consumers. Super proud of this because we solved a genuine client problem and didn't go with the usual "key visual" idea.
