(Button Poetry) Cuz He's Black
I collaborated with Javon Johnson, the poet, and Button Poetry to produce and animate a short over Javon Johnson's spoken words poetry about an African American father's fear for his boy growing up in America. The animation received numerous recognition, including the 'best animated shorts' award at San Diego's Asian Film Festival and an IMAA 4 Award from AIAP.
