Teardrop Lighting Concepts

'Teardrop' is one of many lighting concepts produced for Bloom Lighting Co; a collaborative university project between myself and three others. The simple bottle shaped design allowed for easy adaptation enabling the adaptation for a number of different environments/markets. The central band would be 3D printed in PLA then sprayed then sandwiched between two sections of glass or ceramic 'bottlle'. The would would sit inside the and be fixed in with a simple cork.
This version would lend itself well to kitchen and dining areas (bulb not included in the image above)
This version was intended for use in hotel reception areas and features a bespoke wooden beam and 11 individual 'teardrop' pieces.
