Composing With Glyphs- Digital Sketches

My Top 3 Sketches of Sans-Serif and Serif Compositions-
Typography at BYU-Idaho
Sans-Serif Sketch #1
Out of the 3 sketches, this is my second best composition. There can be a little more variation in size with the characters.
There are different sizes for these characters. The "g" and "2" give negative space.
Sans Serif Sketch #2
This sketch is the least best out of the 3 sans-serif sketches because there can be more alignment with all the characters.
Much of sans-serif text have similar characteristics that can make them interact with one another. For example, the corner of the "D" sits on the crossbar of the "t".
Sans Serif Sketch #3
If I were to make minor changes with this composition, this sketch would be the best sketch out of these sans-serif sketches. I can make the "A" sit on top of the "4".
The "1", "4", "7" and "f" all show alignment.

Serif Sketch #1
This serif sketch is my second best composition. The "x" and "7" show negative space, but there can be more alignment with the "7" along the "L".
The "L" and "w" are aligned with each other. The "7" can fit more on the bar of the "L".
Serif Sketch #2
This is my best serif sketch because there is more unity with the text. A change I would make with this composition is to match up the serifs of the "m" with the "V".
The "P", "b", "d", "6", and "9" have a bowl shape. I can align the "q" with one of these other characters.
Serif Sketch #3
This sketch is the least best composition out of the 3 serif sketches. I can make more of a focal point to make the text less scattered.
The "O" can sit on the curve of the "C". The "J" and "1" can also be put in other places to give this composition more order.
