I love video games that tell engaging stories, and exploring their virtual worlds, appreciating that all I am looking at it a cluster of pixels and some code that has been created from scratch by developers.
‘Beautiful little pixels’ is a self-initiated project I started in May 2015. The original idea was to combine my interests in video games and design in a hope to create aesthetically pleasing artworks and experiment with creative ideas which I could not apply in my job. However, spending more time on the project searching for context, I stumbled upon the work of professional screenshot artists and in-game photographers, and so the project is slowly evolving and turning into more of a hobby, branching out to video work too, it has helped broaden my skill set in my own time and find a new way to enjoy my hobby.
