Objective
The food bank asked its volunteers to create its first-ever fundraising event, the Columbia City Chow Down. This part of the event work was to write two form letters: one to motivate local restaurants to support their hungry neighbors by participating in an event, the other to motivate friends of the food bank's volunteers to buy tickets for the event.
Approach
I contributed my copywriting and event planning skills as a volunteer, helping establish this community event. I also wrote the event's tag line: Sit! Eat! Repeat!
