Problems identified:
Problems identified:
1. Information is scattered
2. Contrasting colors do enhance clarity, but repetitive use is disturbing for the user.
3. Size of display: It is visible only to the operator , while the customerfrom that distance cannot see the quantity he gets forthe amount paid. (customer satisfaction: Visible product feedback)
4. The orange back light used is not very visible at night.
5. Petrol consumption meter is inconspicuous.
6.There is no distinction between price, volume and rate displays.
7. The instructions printed on the display board has worn off.
8. There is no clarity of information in the pictographs.
9. The sequence of operation largely dependson the position of controls. Here instructions and keypad are very far apart because of which it becomes difficult forthe user to refer and operate the machine.
10. The layout of information and display is disorganised.
