This master plan was created after a deep study of the rural area of Lammari, in a central Tuscany plain area. This project aims to reintegrate traditional cultivation and water management system with actual state of thing. After this, create a street system based on the old countryside system, a recreational area and little forest. In the second board my colleague and I focused on the construction of a specific part of this area, designing a detention basin with recreational and ecological roles.

The designs were created starting with the technical cart (1:5000 and 1:1500) with hand drawing, Sketchup 3D modelling on the building and Photoshop for the assembling. The designs where included in a power point presentation about the area analysis for the “Landscape design” exam.

Before the design, some pictures used in the presentation of the project to describe the countryside landscape around Lucca and the comparison between aero-photograph of different years to analyze the evolution of this landscape in the rural and urban area, both in the flat land and on the hills.
