FILM SYNOPSIS 
A Singaporean man who has been working overseas for several years receives a phone call that brings him back to Singapore. With an excuse to return home, he finds himself in a familiar yet different environment. Hao finds his reason to return, the conviction in his progressive homeland.

Directing and writing (together with Producing and Editing) was always what I've wanted to do, as I love to create things from scratch with the visuals that are merely from my imagination, incorporating art, logic and purpose together to create something I hope to inspire people with. 

 

When I was privileged to have the chance to do so, this time, as a director and writer, it was refreshing to stand at another point of view in a production, as it was different to the role I've taken as a novice Producer previously before this independent film project.

 

I've learnt a lot more about myself when I was working on it, I especially the fact that the way people react and work varies from time to time when they are taking up a diversity of roles.

 

Working in a team differs as well, from time to time as the people are always changing and especially when this time, we only have a small group of 3 people working together. Taking several roles in a production was also a new experience at that point, challenging myself with different things at once.
