Everything about Handgloves – 2014 ISTD Submission (Merit)
A conceptual approach to the abstract idea of Handgloves. Handgloves is a key word that showcases the "essence" of a typeface. It is used to test letterforms in their early design period to determine its personality, flaws, and space – if a typeface design is worth pursuing. At its core, Handgloves consists of primary shapes – triangle, square, circle, semi-circle, and line – which can be repeated to create all 26 latin characters. Further refinement of these shape can result to a working – legibly – character set.
