This was a very fun project to do in Illustrator. I first made the Earth by using the pencil tool and ellipse tool and then colored it all in. I added an outer glow effect to make the atmosphere. From there, I copied that same Earth and then split it in half to show some of the layers using the pen tool. After that, I used the ellipse tool to make the oval layers and filled it in with color. I labeled all of the layers after I finished that. I then made 6 ovals towards towards bottom to split the layers up and show each one. I added a 3D effect to each one and added a little bit of interesting information under them.
