In order to apply for several grad school programs in Germany and Italy I have created a portfolio book. The PREVIEW section includes a photo of myself, the letter of motivation, the résume and additional documents. The REVIEW section shows a collection of design projects from the past, showing the variety of work I have been doing (Editorial, Graphic, Web, Branding, Photography etc.) That way the book can be opened from both sides.
The book consists of 72 pages and is bound into signatures of two, using the coptic stitch method and black waxed thread. For the inside spreads I used plain 180g paper, the cover is made out of cloth-covered chipboard. The final size of the handmade book is 25 x 18cm.
