The New Owner of the sleeve
Secret 7" is an anual exhibition held in London. It combines art and music for a good cause. Every year designers and artists world wide are invited to create a piece of artwork for the show. Each designer gets to pick out of 7 different songs which get pressed on a 7" vinyl. The rules are quite simple: Create a piece of artwork for one (or more) of the 7 selected songs, but don't put the name or song title on the cover. This year the exhibition was held at Somerset House in London. After the exhibition there was a huge sale day where each sleeve was sold for 50 pounds each. all the money made from that sale day was then given to a good cause. For the 2015 edition Secret 7" chose Nordoff Robbins who are dedicated to transforming children and adults lives by musical theraphy. GATEFOLD is extremely proud to be a part of this years event.
