The Happily Ever After – Typographic Illustration

EVERYONE DESERVES TO LIVE
HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Currently 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, not may, or if, but will.
Kris Hallenga was one of those women, after months of misdiagnosis, she was eventually told she had stage 4 breast cancer. Within weeks of that diagnosis she founded a charity called CoppaFeel! whose sole purpose is not to rid us of cancer but to raise awareness that early detection matters, if we can detect it early enough then there is a greater chance of getting through it and being able to live Happily Ever After.

The folks over at Happy Ending Agency, have worked with CoppaFeel! on several projects and with the help of 24 wonderful and awesome artists from around the world have curated an exhibition of work around the theme of fairy tales, folklore and mythical creatures.

We are now selling these prints in order to raise money to allow Kris and the rest of the team at CoppaFeel! to continue their awesome work and save as many lives as we can, so why not buy yourself a beautiful print and lets kick cancers butt (or boobs in this case).

A HUGE THANK YOU TO:

• All of the artists who took part
• The Printspace for giving us an amazing deal on the prints
• 5 Points Brewery for letting us customise their ale
• 71A Gallery space for being amazing hosts for our opening night

— BEER LABELS —

We designed three custom beer labels using three different creatures from various folklore stories & legends.

POPE LICK MONSTER
Louisville, Kentucky (USA)

1. A legendary railway monster with the mutant body of a man & the strong hind legs of a goat which are guaranteed to give you that caffeine kick.
It lures people onto the train track with its chocolatey aromas, don’t drink too many or you may feel like you’ve been hit by a train in the morning.
LESHY
Slavic mythology

1. Slavic woodland spirit with wheat hair, an Amarillo vine beard and a malted barley tail. Its skin is pale & it has citrus horns resulting in an incredibly drinkable Pale Ale. It has no shadow so legend has it it won’t give you a sore head in the morning.
KAPPA (河童?) or KAWATARŌ (川太郎?)
Japanese mythology

1. A Japanese water demon who inhabits rivers and devours disobedient children. It has the aromatic full body of a tortoise, a sharp and spicy beak, and frogs legs giving it that dash of hops with a twist of pine and passion fruit. This is an incredibly flavoursome Red Ale.
