High on house is the name given to an event that took place at the Red&Blue, a well-known club in Antwerp. The 7th of October was the first edition of this event, that they plan to organize on an annual basis. Through a friend, I got in tough with the organization. At first they had planned to design the posters themselves, but on the side they had asked me to create one myself. They wanted a very clean, typographic poster, using only black, white and red. For me the ideal client. I had to make two designs, one on a black background, and one on a white background.
After a few hours, I could present them several designs, so they could pick their favorite and send me some corrections. The first two I'd made, were exactly what they had in mind. Only the names of the dj's had to be slightly bigger. So besides that, they were, like me, very pleased with the result!
