Rink is all set up with the logo ready for the first puck drop.
Initial Concept Sketches. I really was going for that Miner look, but there was a team in the league actually called the Miners....but their logo...well... So yea! we went with the pic axe and glove!
Had to you use my own dingy hockey glove for reference. I Liked the way it looked in a vector but thought it wasn't "generic" enough so started to pull it back to the original concept.
Some ideas that were developped with the board of directors but eventually dropped. Really enjoyed their voting system and how they would mix and match. Great people to work with.
Pretty basic merch' ideas. Enough to get the idea.
Was thinking of making a small jet decal but ...caman'!
...And look at that! They took my suggestions, well kinda! haha I'm quite sure the good folks at Neilson put in a good chunk to get this done! Either way, really fun to see the work litterally rolled out.
