John Lewis Packaging

I reimagined John Lewis’ packaging to produce a ‘wow’ factor for the customer when they tear off the tag and the sides of the packaging fall away to reveal the product.

At the moment their home delivery system uses standard cardboard boxes with plastic air bags to protect the product which isn’t very environmentally friendly.

In order to protect the product in a neat and environmentally sustainable way I created a corrugated cardboard protection system which easily moulds to the shape and size of the product in the factory.
Adding joy to user experiences is what I am becoming increasingly interested in as a designer and I am continuing with the idea of very joyous experiences in new projects also.
