ABOUT WORKSHOP
On Saturday, January 17th 2015, The Athens Zine Bibliotheque held the zine-workshop Tracing sounds with the graphic designer Natassa Pappa from Street Design Words at the Gallery of Merchants (Traces of Commerce II).
Workshop participants were invited to explore the experiential dimension of space and the limits of communication in public space. They walked in pairs in the surrounding streets of the Galllery of Merchants, using only the sense of hearing. Upon return to The Athens Zine Bibliotheque, they were free to visualize what they heard with the medium of their choice (creative writing, typography, drawings, etc.).The “Tracing sounds” zine collects all these artworks and it binds them with a cover of notations inspired by the lines they heard.

Workshop concept & layout design: Natassa Pappa
Cover silkscreen printing: Tind
