The fundamental nature, the essense of the food we eat is defined by the meek but paramount proportion of spices which we know as salt & pepper.The "DUET" salt and pepper shaker takes its inspiration from same yin and yang relationship between salt and pepper. The salt and pepper shakers are combined in a single structure, making it easier to be handle the spices on the table while paying homage to the fact that there cannot exist the one, without the presence of the other.
The form of the shaker was inspired by a tetrahedron, which incidentally is the molecular shape of salt.

The prototypes were made in ABS using Rapid Prototyping.
