Hoofer's largest keelboat, Decoy, has been under restoration for almost a year. The 34 year-old boat had a structurally unstable deck and minor haul surface cracks due to years of use and lack of maintainance. Here, the hole for the keel-stepped mast is covered to prevent rain and snow from collecting in the cabin.

Decoy was designed for both cruising and racing. The Club kept the galley, but disabled its cooking features for safety.
